Gomi!

I really don’t like the new Smart logo (www.smart.com.ph). I feel the typeface feels unbalanced and those small gaudily colored dots don’t help. They don’t work well together. It also seems like they’re targeting 8-12 year old girls with this branding. 

I hate complaining without giving a solution. So, here’s my take on their “polka-dot” theme using a custom typeface. Second revision based on something I made in 10 minutes last night.
